Building on the success of the inaugural Nuclear Fuel Cycle Conference in 2012, IChemE is expanding the conference content for the Sustainable Nuclear Energy 2014 programme to include a broader range of topics and streams for nuclear energy suppliers, academics and consumers to use as platform to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities associated with the rising global energy demand.

The second ACTINET-I3 Plenary Meeting was held in Avignon, France, 23-24 January 2013.
ACTINET-I3 is a FP7 EURATOM Integrated Infrastructure Initiative, offering transnational access to the key research facilities in Europe dedicated to actinide chemistry. This Plenary Meeting is widely open to the Actinide Science Community which can benefit from the network services.

 

September 8th-13th 2013, Sevilla (SPAIN)

On behalf of the organizing committee of the EUROMAT 2013 meeting, which will be located in Sevilla (Spain) in the beginning of September 2013 (8th – 13th), we are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts to the symposium dedicated to materials for nuclear applications (including fuels, radwaste matrices, alloys, …). The deadline for abstract submission is fixed to January, 31st, 2013.

One session is particularly dedicated to Materials for Nuclear Applications (symposium IV). It is included in the topic E3 “Energy Conversion and Transport” that you will be able to find in the “Program/Symposia structure” section of the web-site.
